SGM100

The SGM series of spectrographs consists of a wide range of designs, from desktop scientific spectrographs to mini CCD spectrographs. Optimised for maximum performance in the spectral range from 200 nm to 1100 nm, (a range which can be analysed using silicon based CCD-line detectors) for many applications SGM spectrometers offer users the very best performance at this budget price.

The SGM 100 soectrograph is widely used in many fields such as research and teaching, colour measurement, environmental monitoring, in-field measurements of forests and agriculture, food detection  and LED optical properties measurements. The SGM100 uses a crossed Czerny-Turner design that delivers low stray light and maximum optical resolution. Easy to adapt with a variety of detectors and gratings this compact high performance spectrograph can be used in a variety of applications.

SGM100 grating spectrograph adopts cross level light path. The compound light from the entrance slit becomes the parallel beams after the collimating mirror reflection. Then the parallel beams illuminate the plane diffraction grating. The grating dispersion light is focused on the linear array CCD by the focus mirror, and at the same time forming the focus plane on the CCD. Built-in stray light absorption well, the stray light can be suppressed effectively.

SGM100 grating spectrograph is finished by a block aluminum, which effectively prevent the temperature deformation, or spectral shift caused by vibration. Electromagnetic interference (EMI) of SGM100 has been optimized, which can effectively prevent outside interference for the measurement accuracy.

USB power supply and external power supply (power adapter). In the power section, the Buck–Boost chip is used to avoid the USB power supply output voltage unstable which can not meet the normal work of CCD, amplifier and A/D chips, etc. With the buck- boost chip in the power section, the system power supply is stable and the signal output level is stable too.
